This lovely two-story historic building in downtown Goldsboro is undergoing thorough renovations, and is expected to be completed later this year.
On the first floor the storefront will be repaired and the space will be ready for a commercial tenant to move in, with new ADA toilet rooms, a storage area, and the existing historic stairs to remain.
Upstairs the former office space will be converted to a 3-bedroom apartment, with the historic skylights and many of the original walls to remain.
A non-original rear addition is in the process of being removed, and during our last site visit we were able to watch as it was demolished. Much of the framing is now complete, and we are looking forward to seeing this beauty come together!
