Trophy on Maywood: Open for Business

Over the winter holidays, Trophy Brewing Company opened their second location on Maywood Avenue. The new space features an expansive 20-barrel brewhouse complete with a cozy taproom and outdoor gathering space.

Upon arrival, taproom patrons are welcomed by a lively outdoor patio and a glass overhead door which floods the interior with afternoon light. The taproom is clean and simple, with large storefront windows to bring your attention into the gleaming brewery space. This visual connection was the primary driver of the design.

The impressive 12,000 square foot brewery includes three single-batch fermentation tanks and three double-batch fermentation tanks, greatly increasing the capacity of the existing brewery. Support spaces include a barrel aging room, a keg cooler, and offices.

Trophy's first location on West Morgan Street was designed by Maurer Architecture and included a full service kitchen and 3-barrel brewery. The space opened in February of 2013. The new Maywood Avenue location focuses primarily on brewing, but plays host to a number of food trucks throughout the week.
