Each year our team observes MLK Day of Service by volunteering in our local community. Last week we had the opportunity to donate time to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC by volunteering in the warehouse where we assisted with processing and packaging produce for distribution. Our team along with multiple other volunteers processed ~8,000 lbs of produce which will translate into ~6,700 meals!
It was an honor to show support for this amazing organization that has been combatting hunger in our state for over 40 years. If you haven’t had the chance to volunteer with the Food Bank, we highly recommend getting involved!
