Last week Creative Mornings and F*ckup Nights hosted an event centered around encouraging vulnerability, celebrating creativity, and most importantly… normalizing failure.
The stage was set at Maywood Hall & Garden, and our own Meredith Kirkpatrick was up first to share her experience with failure, followed by Preeti Waas of Cheeni, Brianna Pinto from the NC Courage, and Cody Charland of F*ckup Nights; who also fearlessly shared stories of failed experiences. We couldn’t be prouder of these 4 speakers who were willing to stand in front of a crowd and discuss experiences most would deem too uneasy to talk about, and for showing us that failure and success are not mutually exclusive - a failed attempt is less scary than a lack of attempt.
It was an evening that brought the community together to share, listen, encourage, and learn.
Shoutout to Joel Pominville of Creative Mornings RDU, and Cody Charland of F*ckup Nights Raleigh, and all the others who helped organize this superb event!
